The Deering Estate's Spring and Summer Cabaret Concert Series features eclectic and world music artists in an intimate setting. The concerts are held on Thursday evenings in the Spring (February, March and April) and on Saturday evenings in the Summer (June, July and August).
The Deering Estate kicks off the 2010 Spring Cabaret Concert Series on Thursday, February 25th. The concert will feature Folk Singer and Coconut Grove native Bob Ingram. All concerts begin at 8 pm; the main gate opens at 7 pm. It is recommended to arrive early for preferred seating. Guests are welcome to bring refreshments and snacks to enjoy during the show.
Single tickets are $20; the three-concert series is $55 (save $5.00). Limited seating is available. Advance tickets are recommended. To purchase tickets, please call the Deering Estate Ticket Office at 305-235-1668 ext. 233.

Featuring Bob Ingram - Folk Singer
Bobby Ingram, Coconut Grove native, resided at the corner stone of a flourishing folk scene in the '60s and '70s singing by the Bay. He has toured and entertained audiences now for five decades with his broad folk music repertoire and humorous stories. He is truly a Florida original and greatly respected in folk and pop music circles. Bobby’s professional beginnings as a touring member of Les Baxter’s Balladeers along with fellow member David Crosby, who introduced and endeared Bobby Ingram to musicians across America. He has performed with David Crosby, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Jimmy Buffett, Fred Neil, Gail Garnet and many others. During his career, Bobby Ingram has owned, operated, partnered and performed in several South Florida coffeehouses including “Café Catacomb” in Ft. Lauderdale; “Gaslight South” in Coconut Grove; and “The Flick” in Coral Gables. He is also famous for making “Monty’s Raw Bar” a rare musical retreat on Biscayne Bay in Coconut Grove. To hear Bobby Ingram sing is an opportunity to re-visit Coconut Grove as an undiscovered artist and sailing colony while the Bay Breeze blows his songs gently into your heart.
